Zarazua Painting Celebrates the Season with Joyful “Posada”

The holiday spirit was stronger than ever at Zarazua Painting’s annual “Posada,” a heartwarming celebration that brought together employees, their families, and members of the community. Our Posada on Friday, December 21st, was filled with festive cheer, traditional Mexican customs, and a generous dose of holiday magic.

The “Posada,” a traditional Mexican Christmas celebration, began with a meaningful prayer session led by a local priest. This spiritual moment set the tone for an evening filled with gratitude, togetherness, and the true meaning of Christmas for us.

Following the prayer, we were captivated by two mesmerizing Aztec dance performances. The vibrant costumes, live musicians, and rhythmic movements brought the rich cultural heritage of Mexico to life, enchanting both young and old. We also had lots and lots of food provided by our employees’ families; All of the holiday staple foods like carnitas (pork tacos), posole (chicken/pork soup with corn maiz), and tamales!

Our Posada would not be complete without exciting prizes! Zarazua Painting generously raffled off a variety of incredible home items, including blenders, 60-inch TVs, home theater sound systems, and toy sets for kids! You can imagine why this is one of everyone’s favorite moments from the posada! The festivities continued with a range of fun-filled games for both children and adults.
